Digital Detox: Managing Screen Time for a More Productive Workday
I totally get how hard it can be to manage our digital addiction, especially in our line of work. But worry not, because today, I’m here to share my own journey and some tips on how to detox from screens and have a more productive workday.
My Digital Odyssey as a Software Engineer:
Picture this: I was once a wide-eyed software engineer, eagerly diving into the digital realm, crafting lines of code with zeal, and solving complex problems on my trusty computer. Life was all about screens — work, coding projects, video calls, and even leisure. I was connected 24/7, and it was exhilarating.
However, over time, I began to notice the downsides. My productivity was taking a hit, my eyes were straining, and my work-life balance was becoming increasingly skewed. It was time for a digital intervention.
